A Festival for Giving with Grace, June 7th 5:30pm

An exciting night of great music, great food, and great fun! This event is to honor the hard work of our local nonprofit partners and raise funds to support the Katie Grace Foundation. All proceeds will fund the KTGF infrastructure so that we may continue our work to support YOU! Join us!!

Katie Bug Boutique Grand Opening, January 24, 10am-12pm
OUR Place, Sparks, NV
The Washoe County Human Services Agency and the Katie Grace Foundation will celebrate its Grand Opening! The Katie Bug Boutique will be available to families of OUR Place, providing clothes, shoes and toys to hundreds of children. Each family can shop for various items free of charge.

Laptop Distribution Event, January 26
Katie's Warehouse
Over 70 laptops will be distributed at invitation only event with Amazon representatives present with interest in learning about local programs.

Victorian Square Plaza
A family event for all to enjoy with proceeds being split between nonprofit organizations. Our funds will purchase $25 gift cards for our Veterans during the holiday season.

Veterans Scholarship Gala: November 12th
Whitney Peak Hotel, 255 N Virginia Street, 4pm
Featuring guest speaker, Colonel Ronald D. Storer, funds raised at the Veterans Scholarship Gala allows Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 989 to continue providing
financial support through scholarships to our Veterans returning to school to further their education.

AFP Sierra Chapter Cornerstone Award: Friday, November 18, 12-1:30pm

In honor of National Philanthropy Day, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is offering a luncheon and training day. The Katie Grace Foundation has been chosen as the winner for Outstanding Foundation for the AFP Sierra Chapter Cornerstone Award and will be recognized at this incredible event.

Xquisitive Golf Tournament: Monday, October 3
Toiyabe Golf Course, Carson City, NV
Funds raised to provide tangible freedom to women, youth, and survivors of human (sex) trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence. Katie Grace Foundation will be on Hole #3. Come cheer the KTGF Board Members as they golf on Katie's behalf.

Governor Point of Light Award Ceremony: October 20
The Blind Center, Las Vegas, NV
Kimberly Weingartner, founder of Katie Grace Foundation has been nominated in the Veterans/Military category. This award is the highest award bestowed on a civilian from the Governors office.

Good Shepherd: Open House Fundraiser Friday, October 21st, 4-9 pm
540 Greenbrae Drive, Sparks, NV
This wine and appetizer fundraiser raises money for Good Shepherd Clothes Closet. It will be a great time with a silent auction, raffle, and live music!

ALL MONTH: Ongoing Sock Drive! Originating from the lovely group Altrusa, who gathered 331 pairs of socks, KTGF is hosting various sock drives throughout the month of October. If you or your business is interested in supporting this event, contact us HERE.

Veteran Stand Down: Friday, September 23, 2022
Elks Lodge, 597 Kumle Lane, Reno 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m
This event connects our Veterans to the medical and mental health care as well as housing resources they need. Katie Grace Foundation will be sharing clothes, shoes, hygiene kits, and a hot meal. Volunteers welcome.

Katie's Garden Dedication Ceremony, September 26, 2022
1340 Foster Drive, Reno (behind the Bridge Church) 9:00-9:45am
Please join Farmily and its partners for the dedication of Katie's Community Garden, a local collective with the Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows and Bridge Church. The garden provides fresh produce to the Bridge Church while teaching social and emotional skills to underserved youth through organic gardening. Tours will be ongoing until 11am.

Katie's Volleyball game: September 15, 2022
Reno High School Huskies 4pm
This annual game honors Katie and her love of the game. Students and athletes will wear KTGF socks, offer a 50/50 raffle, and proceeds will benefit Katie Grace Foundation. Freshman game starts at 4pm, stay for the JV & Varsity game thereafter.

Family Festival of Services: August 2022
Sponsored by the Women and Children of the Sierra. Along with a new pair of shoes, Katie Grace Foundation offered backpacks to over 300 incoming students.

Upstate Nevada Golf Tournament: June 2022
Sponsoring Hole #3 at the beautiful Lakeridge Golf Course, all donations and contributions from this event supported the Upstate Nevada Everyday Hero’s program.

Katie Grace Foundation was recognized as Veteran Supporter for the Month (VSM) for May 2022, as awarded by Governor Steve Sisolak. "Kimberly Weingartner and the Katie Grace Foundation have been an invaluable supporter of the veteran's community over many of the past years."
